Over the last decade spring, fall & winter all kinds of Wellness  & Yoga Retreats are hosted at our Lake Muskoka property. ..creative, artist, writing, cycling, yoga, transformational and more.

Our cottage rental property is on Lake Muskoka in a quiet bay, 10 minutes from the gateway town of Muskoka – Gravenhurst. Across the road from the cottage is the Brydon’s Bay hiking trail and the Great Trail (Chamberlain section) is a 15 minutes walk on the cottage road.

Inside the cottage, you will find the Great Room, Dining Room for 12 and Chef inspired Kitchen are all connected. It’s a perfect gathering space for wellness events. Our yoga host used the Great Room as their primary practice space. Spring & Fall the dock, deck or Muskoka Room are added options.

The cottage offers sleeping for a maximum of 12 in 6 bedrooms. Standard bedroom set up is 3 bedrooms with 2 XL-Twins and 3 bedrooms with King, total 9 beds. To go up to 12 beds, for a fee, we can change the bedroom set up.

Other Rooms include: 3 bathrooms and 1 powder room; 2nd fl reading nook & library / work space; 1st fl Muskoka Room, dining deck for 12 and a TV room with library space.

Manage Costs

  • Decide on all costs. You select the food for your event. You can create the food. Alternatively book catering through a supplier. We recommend local to Gravenhurst and have 3 chef catering options and 3 catering pick up options
  • Enjoy complete privacy, as you are the only guest group at the property. We are not at the property.
  • Save more.  Our low season rates are amongst the lowest. of any area luxury rental property. You assemble your event team so you are not paying for a facility staff. As an example if you want to add an RMT, we can recommend a supplier and you pay their direct fee and coordinate with them.
    • 2023 Weekend Low Season 2-nights/ 1 full day arrive at 3/4PM – depart 10:30/11AM
      • 2150 + applicable taxes, 90/person / 2 nights based on 12 people
    • 2023 Weekend Low Season 2-nights/ 2 full days arrive at 3/4PM – depart anytime Sunday or monday morning
      • 2750 + applicable taxes, 76/person / 3 nights based on 12 people

Spent a weekend at Cliff Bay celebrating a friends 60th birthday. The view is spectacular. The cottage is beautiful and cozy with everything we needed to make this an experience to remember for years to come.

We had a wonderfully relaxing time at Cliff Bay. The location is simply gorgeous and the cottage is beautifully decorated. Swimming, relaxing with our friends and preparing great meals in the wonderful kitchen made for a terrific holiday.

A most relaxing retreat. We had a fantastic stay at Muskoka Soul. The Cliff Bay house includes luxurious and small touches that make the stay here all the more enjoyable. The weather turned ‘wintery’ and the snow on the trees was absolutely magical.

Cliff Bay was absolutely perfect for our intimate wedding weekend! Thank you Sandra, Bruce and Elizabeth for being so organized, accommodating and going the extra mile to ensure our wedding was perfect. Elizabeth was super responsive and organized which helped ease the stress of planning our wedding, especially as we were planning it from a distance! Sandra and Bruce went above and beyond to ensure the cottage was set up exactly as we needed it for our wedding. Our guests can't stop raving about the beautiful venue and we are looking forward to coming back in the future (maybe to celebrate a wedding anniversary!).

What an awesome, high-end place to stay in. Large open concept main level stocked with everything you would need, excluding food, of course. Six bedrooms and multiple bathrooms make this a perfect getaway for large groups.

It has the perfect mixture of a warm cottage vibrance and modern amenities that make for a very comfortable stay. The cottage itself is incredibly spacious, we comfortably fit 10 with ease. Communicating with Bruce and Sandra was always prompt and our check in + check out was simple and efficient. Would recommend to anyone looking to escape the city or for a corporate retreat.March 2019Absolutely beautiful cottage, great location & amazing hospitality. Muskoka Soul is a beautiful property with a scenic view of the lake. This was our second stay at the cliff bay house and this visit was even better than the last. The house and rooms were spacious and comfortable for our group of 12, the kitchen was the perfect size for large family meals. Elizabeth could not have made the experience easier to organise and Bruce was very responsive if we had any questions. Already looking forward to our next stay.

WE stayed at Cliff Bay. This is a stunning property! Close enough but not too close to the city, in the heart of Muskoka with a fantastic sand entry into the lake. Sandra's attention to detail is evident from the exquisite finishes of the property to the customized offerings to the guests which make the stay exceptional, unique, and comfortable.

Muskoka Soul Cliff Bay is an oasis on the water. Their attention to detail is evident throughout the cottage. The beds are extremely comfortable. The atmosphere of the building is luxuriously rustic. The waterfront has an excellent swimming area, and the landscaping is beautiful. We loved our stay and hope to come back again!

From the moment you walk in the door at Muskoka soul until the moment you leave, there is a feeling of peace and comfort. The kitchen is a joy to cook in and a great gathering place for friends and family to connect, the beds are so comfortable that you could sleep forever, except you don’t want to miss a minute of what the cottage has to offer. From hiking trails to dock time or lovely shops in Gravenhurst to explore. Sitting on the dock and watching water planes out on day adventures to the old steamboats going by. Muskoka Soul is a favourite retreat for our family, a true gem that you must experience for yourself!!

Our family of 11 just arrived back from 1 week's vacation at Cliff Bay cottage hosted by Muskoka Soul.Had the most superlative time. The house is beautifully appointed and perfectly clean.Especially enjoyed the warm and welcoming Great Room, the Muskoka room, the clear lake and large dock.The lovely property is situated very close to Gravenhurst - convenient!The hosts were attentive, responsive and appreciative of our visit.We will happily book again next year.The Johnson family

I've now been to both the Lakehouse and Cliff Bay properties - needless to say, both are incredible. My family recently visited Cliff Bay to celebrate a milestone birthday and it was the perfect venue for the celebration. We had renowned Chef Don cater the event (we recommend the lasagna!) and everybody LOVED the food. Amazing house, great energy, and most importantly: comfy beds. 5 star recommendation...looking forward to our next visit!

I just ran my very first wellness retreat at the Cliff Bay House and it was absolutely amazing! Beautiful house, beautiful property, beautiful dock, and my favourite part was how organized and easy everything was. All my guests left very happy. I would rent again and highly recommend. Thanks!

Cliff Bay was the perfect location for our Self-Love retreat! Not only is the cottage beautifully appointed and ideal for large groups, it also has a "soul" of its own....allowing all of our participants to feel comfortable, pampered and well-taken care of....which is exactly what we wanted to find in ourselves!!! The property owners went above and beyond to make sure that our retreat was memorable and successful...which it was! The bedrooms were perfect for sleeping and for finding quiet time, the kitchen was the heart of our retreat and the great room allowed us to have conference time as well as yoga and stretch classes. The dock was perfect for morning meditation as well as for retreat exercises. The surrounding trails were also an added bonus for a quick hike or a quiet walk. Cliff Bay was a magical place for our retreat and we will be back!!

A absolutely stunning property! My family rented it to attend my Nephews wedding in Gravenhurst! The only sad thing is it was not a long enough stay!! I hope to return in the summer sometime to enjoy sitting on the dock and enjoying the warm weather. Being there in the fall the colours were spectacular!! This house has all the amenities you would need to enjoy your stay. This house is so clean and comfortable and just beautiful! Thank you Elizabeth for always responding quickly to any answers We had! Thanks Sandra for sharing this property!!
