COVID-19 Update

Soul Management Group Inc. is closely monitoring the COVID 19 situation in Ontario.

We want to share what we are doing to ensure the health and well being of our guests.

In addition to the thorough professional cleaning that takes place during each guest group turnover, we are adding an extra level of cleaning and disinfection as a precaution and to provide additional peace of mind.

Guests benefit from full privacy and only interact with their own guest group when on site. We have keyless entry and can disable the alarm system remotely.  All work is done prior to guests arriving and the time and  manpower allotted for proper cleaning has been factored. Guests receive access codes and greeter requirement through e-mail. Guest arrival is 4:30PM and early arrivals cannot be given at this time.

Guest departure is 10AM and later departure cannot be given at this time. If you want to have more time, we invite you to book an added night. To support our guests we offer added time at a reduced rate (after mins), October through May. You can than arrive at the time you wish on your arrival day or departure at the time you wish on your departure day.

Muskoka Soul is about a two-hour drive from downtown Toronto and 1.5 hours from Pearson International airport (YYZ).  

The property is a mere seven-minutes from the town of Gravenhurst and about twenty minutes from Bracebridge.

Muskoka Soul | Cliff Bay an Extraordinary Escape

Custom built for the guest experience. Muskoka Soul | Cliff Bay is fully stocked, all you will need to bring is your toiletries and food. All bed, bathroom & kitchen linens, a supply of paper goods and house hold items are supplied.

The Property

The Lakehouse cottage is a 3,800 sq. ft., built in 2016 with a timber frame construction overlooking Lake Muskoka in Cliff Bay.  Primary exposure is south/south west, and boasts 98 feet of shoreline in a tranquil bay, perfect for swimming and paddling. A large 40 ft shoreline dock and 28 ft T-extension dock means  the property is easily accessible by watercraft or floatplane in the spring, summer and autumn.

The Lakehouse  at Cliff Bay is amid a canopy of mature trees providing summer shade. There is also often a cooling breeze from the lake, ceiling fans are in all bedrooms.

Cliff Bay offers six large bedrooms with Simmons Hotel series beds; including three king beds and six extra-long twin beds as our standard set-up. At an added fee from our linen supplier (CG Linens) and our cleaning supplier (Pure Muskoka Clean) for conversion time & pcik-up & transportation of linens, all six-bedrooms can be converted to kings OR can be converted into twelve extra-long twin beds.

As per Short-Term rental regulations in the province, no more than two people per bedroom. We do not support overcrowding and follow fire safety regulations of no obstructions on the floor of bedrooms.

Pillows and 400-thread-count White Linen Service bed linens and season top bedding are provided. All beds have bedskirts and high quality mattress covers on Simmons Beauty Rest Hotel series Innkeeper beds.

Each bed has the required bed pillows all of which are foam. Decorative pillows used on beds are feather. Sofas and chairs in common rooms, Great Room, TV Room, Library, Reading Nook Bench are feather.

Top linens in bedrooms are either quilts Or cotton duvet cover and blanket in summer & fall. Top linens winter & spring are duvets Or quilts with blankets.


Three full bathrooms and a powder room:  two bathrooms on the second floor; first floor bathroom plus powder room. Toilet paper is provided (not an unlimited supply)

The first-floor main bathroom is three piece including a large glass shower with rain head. The 36-inch entry door wide door makes this bathroom wheelchair accessible. One second-floor bathroom has four pieces, including a large deep soaker tub and a large shower with rain head. The other bathroom has three pieces, including a large shower.

White Linen Service: Bath linens are provided – 12 bath towels, hand towels, facecloth, bath mat in each bathroom, kitchen linens. Dock towels are not provided and the white towels do not do well at the dock. GC Linens offers towel rental $15/ dock towel. Please order at least a week in advance, so that we can confirm availability with our supplier.

Kitchen and dining

Create the meals of your dreams in our fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Equipment includes electric range/oven, microwave, two dishwashers, two refrigerators, cookware, dishes, cutlery and serving utensils.  We also offer small appliances such as two coffee makers (for those morning emergencies!), blender, hand mixer, extra oven and a toaster – see a complete list below.

Kitchen linens, basic spices, vinegar & cooking oil and paper goods are provided.

Out the door

Enjoy the majesty of Lake Muskoka from the screened-in Muskoka Room. Then venture outside to grill on large gas barbecue and dine or lounge on the cedar deck. At night enjoy a fire in the fire pit in the towering pine tree grotto. Walk 1 minute out the door right onto the Brydon’s Bay Provincial Hiking Trail … See the trail map here


The waterfront is approximately 100 feet of natural shoreline, accessible via a short staircase and sloping path past Canadian Shield rock face. As you make your way down to a 50×10-foot shoreline dock and a 28×12-foot T-dock. Shallow swimming is available from the side dock 2-4ft on the sandy shoreline, and clear, deep water swimming from the main dock, mid-point of the dock 10 ft, end of the dock 20 ft.

The main dock is suitable for watercraft and water plane access. Protected there is an inlet area to the west of the main dock. See pictures & video. Light (canoe, kayak) and power watercraft are readily available in the area, book through local suppliers.

If recycle is found in bags, District of Muskoka will not remove and charged at $95 from our local supplier Muskoka Catertaking.
