COVID-19 Update (May 17th)

Muskoka Soul / Soul Management Group is closely monitoring the COVID 19 situation in Ontario as currently the province of Ontario has banned short-term rentals for leisure travel up to June 2, 2020.

We want to share what we are doing to ensure the health and well being of our guests.

When our rentals resume, in addition to the thorough professional cleaning that takes place during each guest group turnover, we are adding an extra level of cleaning and disinfection as a precaution and to provide additional peace of mind. Link to our Covid 19 detailed plan & procedures

Guests benefit from full privacy and only interact with their own guest group when on site. All work is done prior to guests arriving and the time and  manpower allotted for proper cleaning has been factored. Guest arrival is 4PM and early arrivals cannot be given for most bookings.

At this time the cancellation policies for periods after the state of emergency are lifted remain unchanged and we will continue monitoring the situation as it pertains to traveling to the Muskoka Region. Our policy if there is an Ontarion SEO in place on your arrival date than guests are refunded (less credit card fees  if applicable) OR can keep a credit on file at the 2020 rate for a 2021 booking.

Muskoka Soul properties are about a two-hour drive from downtown Toronto and 1.5 hours from Pearson International airport (YYZ).  

The town of Gravenhurst is a mere fifteen-minute drive from Muskoka Soul, Lake House and Bala is about twenty minutes away. Muskoka Soul, at Cliff Bay is a short seven-minutes from town and about twenty minutes from Bracebridge.

Muskoka Soul, Two Extraordinary Escapes

Our properties are custom built for the guest experience. Muskoka Soul is fully stocked, all you will need to bring is your toiletries and food. All bed, bathroom & kitchen linens, a supply of paper goods and house hold items are supplied.

Muskoka Soul, The Lake House

Lake House is a 3,200-sq. ft. timber frame construction overlooking Lake Muskoka. Its primary exposure is northeast, and the property boasts 85 feet of shoreline at the widest point of the lake. A large,48 ft. cantilever dock means that Lake House is also accessible by watercraft in the spring, summer and autumn.

The Lake House is situated at the widest point of Lake Muskoka. There is also often a cooling breeze from the lake, ceiling fans are in all bedrooms.

The Bedrooms 

The Lake House has five peaceful bedrooms with Simmons Hotel series beds; including four twin beds; one queen bed; and four extra-long twin beds that can be converted into two king beds. As per Short-Term rental regulations no more than two people per bedroom, we do not offer overcrowding and follow fire safety regulations of no obstructions on the floor of bedrooms.

Pillows and 400-thread-count bed linens are provided.

The Bathrooms 

Lake House has three full bathrooms:  one on the first floor, and two more on the second.

The first-floor bathroom has three pieces, including a glass shower with seat. The 36-inch wide door makes this bathroom wheelchair friendly.

The main second-floor bathroom has four pieces, including a spacious european open shower and large soaker bubble tub. The 2nd floor ensuite bathroom is three piece, including a soaker tub.

Bath linens are provided.

Muskoka Soul, Cliff Bay 

Cliff Bay is a 3,800 sq. ft. 2016 timber frame construction overlooking Lake Muskoka on Cliff Bay.  Primary exposure is south/south west, and boasts 98 feet of shoreline in a tranquil bay, perfect for swimming and paddling. A large 40 ft shoreline dock and 28 ft T-extension dock means  the Cliff Bay property is easily accessible by watercraft in the spring, summer and autumn.

Cliff Bay sits amid a canopy of mature trees providing summer shade. There is also often a cooling breeze from the lake, ceiling fans are in all bedrooms.

One second-floor bathroom has four pieces, including a large deep soaker tub and a large shower with rain head. The other bathroom has three pieces, including a large shower with rain head.

Bath linens are provided.

The kitchen and dining at our properties

Create the meals of your dreams in our fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Equipment includes electric range/oven, microwave, two dishwashers, two refrigerators, cookware, dishes, cutlery and serving utensils.  We also offer small appliances such as two coffee makers (for those morning emergencies!), blender, hand mixer, extra oven and a toaster.  

Kitchen linens, basic spices, vinegar & cooking oils and paper goods are provided.

The outdoors at our properties

Enjoy the majesty of Lake Muskoka from the screened-in Muskoka Room. Then venture outside to grill on large gas barbecue and dine or lounge on the cedar deck. At night enjoy a fire in the fire pit on the stone patio overlooking Lake Muskoka.

Waterfront at The Lake House

The waterfront is approximately 85 feet of natural shoreline, accessible via a cedar staircase down to a 48-foot cantilever dock and a 30-foot side dock. Shallow swimming is available from the side dock, and clear, deep water swimming from the main dock. 

The main dock is suitable for watercraft and water plane access. Light (canoe, kayak) and power watercraft are readily available in the area.

Waterfront at Cliff Bay 

The waterfront is approximately 100 feet of natural shoreline, accessible via a short staircase and sloping path past Canadian Shield rock face. As you make your way down to a 40-foot shoreline dock and a 12×28-foot T-dock. Shallow swimming is available from the side dock, and clear, deep water swimming from the main dock. 

The main dock is suitable for watercraft and water plane access. Light (canoe, kayak) and power watercraft are readily available in the area.
